This little guy wants to be just like Louis Armstrong when he grows up!
I've used the 48 box of Nupastels this time for a few new colors. Hyacinth Violet #254 or Violet #224, Madder Pink #286, Pale Vermillion #266, Salmon Pink #296, Olive Green #248, Light Blue #235, Pistachio #288, Ultramarine Blue #265, Burnt Umber #233, Iron Blue #225, Light Ochre #243, Cocoa Brown #253, Buff #276, Raw Sienna #233, Burnt Sienna #203, Bottle Green #298, #229 Black
You can still use the 24 box though with a few modifications.
Plus, in this one we use the #2 flat Colour Shaper tool for blending.
If this is one of your first soft pastel paintings, I encourage you to view my two FREE in-depth videos on my website. Beginning Your Pastel Journey Part 1 and 2. It will give you more information on the medium, what pastels are out there and what to get, discussion about paper, why you need an easel and some techniques to try. It is worth the view. https://www.lydiasteeves.com/products.php?cat=19
A FREE Basic mini video is also available which will fast track you to get started for one of my demos or classes: pastels, paper choice, changing colour of your paper, transferring your line drawing and set up of the easel.
